Replacing your stock filter with a Jetex Filter

The simplest modification is to take out your existing panel or round filter and replace it with a Jetex high performance filter. The filter will simply slot into the air box in a matter of minutes, providing your car with a subtle but highly effective air intake modification.

Replacing your air intake pipework with a Jetex Induction Kit

The standard air intake system on many vehicles restricts air flow and creates air turbulence. Jetex's aim is to reduce the time taken for air to enter the engine which leads to an improvement in throttle response and engine performance.

In most cases the standard air box is removed to make way for a conical filter. However, there needs to be a secure fitting point to prevent filter movement and certain adaptors may be needed where the connection to the original hosing or air flow meter is more complicated. Jetex provide these fittings where appropriate. 

It is important to draw in cold air to an engine as this type of air is denser and helps combustion. This is why, in many cases, the cone filter is positioned towards a cold air source (usually behind the car headlight). Where applicable, a Jetex Induction Kit is supplied with an extra cold air pipe. Jetex can supply 1 metre cold air pipes in 60mm, 70mm and 80mm diameters.

Universal Cone and Cylindrical Filters

If there isn't an induction kit listed for your car, or you wish to make your own, Jetex offer a comprehensive range of conical and universal filters for inlet diameters of 8mm to 155mm. You can find breather filters of just 13mm to large high performance (400BHP+) cone filters. All are made with 4 layers of cotton gauze. In fact, they are the same filters used for the Jetex Induction Kits!

Universal Colour Filters

If you want a little colour in your engine bay, why not fit a universal colour filter. These have a unique design in that there is an inverted cone filter in the end of the main cone. This allows more air in, which means more power out! These filters are available with inlet diameters ranging from 65mm to 100mm, and BHP of up to 410.
